Cat in the Hat Party

 



On Saturday, we celebrated David's third birthday with a Cat in the Hat Party. He had a blast singing Happy Birthday to himself and eating Pizza King pizza (no cheese)!

Goodbye fall

We enjoyed the final moments of fall this year. Between the rain and our schedules, we ended up doing the last of the leaves the last weekend of November. David had a good time jumping in the pile and throwing leaves around the yard.

Quilt done

It took a few years, but I got a quilt done! I managed to finally get the binding sewn on a foot each night, and this was fabric from my first trip to Paducah. Yeah!

Happy Halloween!

The Halloween Parade at day care was a great success. Elmo is smiling and waving to the crowd. :-) I think he would sleep in the costume if I would let him.

The great pumpkin

David had a lot of fun with the pumpkin this year. He didn't like using his hands (spoon please) and every time he would dig out a seed he would yell "I got one!" And he decided that the pumpkin should have circles for eyes, a triangle for the nose, and a smile, because the pumpkin was happy.

Welcome back

Hello to our family and friends! Thanks for following Surprise Little Blessing and the story of David. Once you get to a certain stage in life, it doesn't seem appropriate to continue being a surprise, so our blog is changing as David grows up. We hope that you can continue to follow on this new space about the Three Ms -- Cindy, David, and Holly Miller.
